A one-north studio built for applied AI practice
Singapore AI Lab opened to give working adults, career switchers and SME teams a dedicated place to learn AI tools through project-based courses — not theory seminars or startup pitch nights. We sit at Create Tower in the one-north / Fusionopolis research district, a setting that reminds learners innovation happens through disciplined practice.
Rooted in one-north, focused on courses
One-north hosts biomedical labs, media studios and tech offices — we borrow the ethos of experimentation but apply it to vocational AI courses. Learners walk in with spreadsheets, slide decks and inbox backlogs, then walk out with documented AI workflows they tested in class.
We are a private training provider registered in Singapore (UEN 202422915M). We do not claim affiliation with A*STAR, IMDA or SkillsFuture unless a specific programme page says so. Our facilitators are experienced practitioners who teach prompt engineering and AI automation — we do not invent fictional professors or unverifiable university chairs.
How we teach
Lab tracks progress from tool literacy to capstone demonstration projects. Each module mixes short demos, hands-on lab time and structured reflection so Singapore professionals understand why an AI suggestion worked — or failed — before reusing it at work.
We emphasise data-safe AI use: knowing what not to paste into ChatGPT, when Copilot is appropriate on company tenants, and how to log human review steps for compliance-minded teams. Generative AI evolves quickly; our syllabus updates quarterly while keeping the same build-and-ship spine.
What we are not
Singapore AI Lab is not a research institute publishing papers, not a startup incubator offering funding, and not a passive-income programme. We do not sell crypto signals, MLM packages or accredited degrees. Completion certificates reflect hands-on training participation only.
We also avoid framing applied AI as a magic income switch. Lab tracks teach ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Claude for real workplace tasks — drafting, summarising, planning and checking AI output quality — without promising salary jumps, guaranteed clients or venture funding. If you need academic research collaboration or seed investment, one-north has other institutions; our studio exists solely for structured vocational AI courses.
Singapore professionals join us to build demonstration projects they can explain to managers, not to acquire unverifiable credentials. We welcome questions about scope before enrolment and publish honest syllabus outlines on request.
